European Week of Regions and Cities
October 10, 2023
SQUARE Brussels Meeting Centre, Brussels, Belgium
In-person Event
ESPON is once again present at the European Week of Regions and Cities, in Brussels and together with the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU we are offering a very interesting event on small and medium-sized cities that play an important role in the growth of their regions, providing jobs and services. These cities create opportunities for people to live and work with a good quality of life.
But what are the policies that transform cities into attractive places? Our event will present a snapshot of innovative policies across Europe. And we will discuss how these cities act as a balancing factor through a New Territorial Contract between rural and urban areas.
