Pathways2Resilience, a flagship project under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, organised a launch event 23 November 2023 in Brussels. During the event the first call was presented which aim to select regions and communities that will receive funding and supporting services from the programme to develop transformative strategies and action plans towards climate resilience. The overall objective is to empower at least 100 European regions and communities to design climate resilience pathways by 2030, with 21M EUR is reserved for funding regional projects through two open public calls.
We are pleased to note that the ESPON Climate (update) data will be used as selection criteria of the first call, to prioritise regions with higher vulnerability and risk. You can find the references to the use of ESPON Climate update in the presentation of the call and in the official Call for Applications documentation.
