ESPON is organising an in-person conference on the morning of 23 May, addressing Affordable and Quality Housing in Europe.

This event will present the first EU-wide mapping of housing prices and affordability indicators at the local level, providing valuable insights into housing market dynamics across regions and cities from the ongoing ESPON H4ALL project. It will also feature a high-level panel discussion with representatives from key EU institutions responsible for housing policy and will discuss proposals aimed at shaping future measures to support housing affordability and quality across Europe.

📌 Session 1: Presentation of Key Findings from ESPON & High-Level Panel Discussion

• Presentation of the first EU-wide mapping of housing prices and affordability indicators at local level.
• A high-level panel discussion gathering representatives of key EU institutions in charge of housing policies: the European Commission (DG REGIO, the Housing Task Force), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the European Parliament (EP).
